St. Clair Hospital Locked Down Due To Reported Domestic Dispute

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- St. Clair Hospital was briefly placed on lockdown Thursday.

Around 3 p.m., the Pittsburgh hospital released a statement explaining that the building had been locked down "out of an abundance of caution" due to a reported domestic dispute off of hospital property.

"St. Clair Hospital is in Lockdown, temporarily restricting access into and out of the Hospital and its Professional Office Building," the statement read, in part.

Hospital police reportedly received a phone call that caused concern.

Officials say the partial lockdown was put in place because the whereabouts of one of the individuals involved in the incident was not known at the time.
