Bomb Threat Phoned Into St. Benedict The Moor School Through 5 Calls

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A school in the Hill District was evacuated after a bomb threat.

St. Benedict the Moor says the school got a bomb threat from an unknown source Tuesday morning. Pittsburgh Police say a male caller phoned in the threat in five separate calls to the school.

Police were immediately notified and launched an investigation.

All students and employees were safe and accounted for at an off-site location.

Parents were allowed to pick up their kids from the Calvary Baptist Church on Wylie Avenue.

A little after noon, Pittsburgh Police said the school was declared safe and students were cleared to return to the building.
