Some Pittsburghers Embrace Latest Round Of Snow

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Many might feel fatigued from the latest round of snow, but Pittsburghers were taking the cold in stride Saturday.

One family in Beechview embraced the snow by making a familiar snowman. They made a real-life version of Olaf from Disney's super popular movie "Frozen."

"We were just kind of on a cold gloomy day again here in Pittsburgh," said dad Jamie Mayer. "With the weather a little warmer, we decided to build a -- what the children like to call -- a happy snowman, and they decided that since they're going to see Disney on Ice ... we decided to build one."

Another family took the opportunity to build a sturdy-looking igloo for their dog Cali.

Some families played in the snow and did some backyard sledding ...

... while others decided to stay in by the fire.
