1 Injured In Shooting At Gas Station In Carrick

CARRICK, Pa. (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a shooting in Carrick at a gas station.

The shooting happened Monday at the BP gas station on Brownsville Road. One person was injured and is in stable condition, police said.

KDKA's Jennifer Borrasso got a look at the BP gas station surveillance video that captured the shooting.

It shows the shooter, a man in a white shirt, walking up to the victim before firing. The victim can be seen falling to the ground before getting into an SUV to go to the hospital.

Police say the shooter took off and has not been found. Police do not have a description of the suspect.

Two gas station employees told KDKA's Jennifer Borrasso that they hear two shots.

Across the street, a bullet shattered the front door to the Union Pizza Company. A worker inside at the time was not hurt. The shop said they found what looks like a .40 caliber bullet.

A Pittsburgh police spokesperson said so far this year, there have been 50 shoots, 21 of them were deadly. This time last year there were 11 deadly shootings.
