Standoff In Shaler Ends After Several Hours

SHALER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A standoff in Shaler has come to an end.

Police were called to a home on Middle Road around 4 p.m. for reports of a woman barricaded inside.

They spent nearly four hours talking to her and thought she was going to leave the home, but then the police said she took her own life.

Allegheny County Police are investigating.
