Shaler Area School District Pushes Back Start Date, Will Do Online Learning For First 4 Weeks

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Shaler Area School District will do online learning for the first four weeks of the school year.

Following that period, district officials will be re-evaluating how to proceed.

The start of the school year is also being pushed back until Sept. 8

On Aug. 10, there will be a virtual town hall for parents discussing the back to school plans.

Commitment forms from parents will be due by August 13.
