Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Much Of Viewing Area

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It's been a hot and humid day in and around Pittsburgh. Now, some severe weather could be moving in.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for much of the Pittsburgh area.

According to the National Weather Service, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for much of the Pittsburgh area

The watch is in effect for the following counties until 11 p.m.:

Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler Cameron, Clarion, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland
