The individuals ran out of a stolen car and barricaded themselves into an apartment on Hayes Avenue, a source told KDKA's Jennifer Borrasso.

Officials were trying to get in touch with a 32-year-old man who was inside the building.

KDKA talked to the father of the man who was inside the house, as he tried to deescalate the situation.
