Section Of Second Avenue Closed Due To Water Main Break

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A section of Second Avenue will be closed to traffic until Saturday evening due to a water main break.

The Pittsburgh Water & Sewer Authority says crews are on the scene to make emergency repairs to a 36-inch water main on Second Avenue.

Second Avenue will be closed between the 10th Street Bridge and the Birmingham Bridge until repairs are complete. Crews plan to work until 9 p.m.

The water main break should not cause any interruptions to water service.
