Scout Profile Of Steelers' Potential Second-Round Draft Pick

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – Many mock drafts have the Steelers selecting a cornerback with their first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com has a scouting profile of a wide receiver the team could be looking at in the second round.

According to Larrabee, the Steelers could be interested in Auburn wide receiver Sammie Coates.

The 6'1, 212-pound Coates recorded 34 catches for 741 yards and four touchdowns.

While his stats may not be overly impressive, the 4.43 40-yard dash time Coates ran at the NFL Combine did turn heads.

Coates is one of four receivers the Steelers brought in for a pre-draft visit, showing that they might be looking at drafting a receiver despite plenty of depth at that position and more glaring needs at others.
