Scout Profile Of Steelers' Potential Second Round Draft Pick

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – Many mock drafts have the Steelers selecting a cornerback with their first pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, but Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com has a scouting profile of a cornerback/safety the team could be looking at in the second round as well.

According to Larrabee, the Steelers could be interested in Utah cornerback/safety Eric Rowe.

The 6'1, 205-pound Rowe recorded 42 tackles, one interception and 13 passes defended while being named an Honorable Mention All-Pac-12.

Rowe made the transition to cornerback last year after playing his first three years at Utah at the safety position.

With the team lacking talent and depth at cornerback, it makes sense that they'd be looking at a number of players to possibly select at that position in the first and second rounds as Rowe is rated a late second-round talent at best.
