Schneider Electric recalling 1.4 million electrical panels due to burn hazard

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Schneider Electric is recalling more than 1 million of its electric panels.

The Boston-based company said there are threats of thermal burns and other fire hazards.

Anyone who has the Square™ D QO™ Plug-on-Neutral Load Centers is being advised to contact Schneider Electric to inspect the product at no charge. They are also known as load centers, breaker boxes or electrical panels

The recalled circuit breaker boxes were manufactured between February 2020 and January 2022, with date codes between 200561 and 220233.
