One Person Killed In Shooting On Saint Clair Avenue In Clairton
CLAIRTON (KDKA) - Allegheny County detectives are investigating a deadly shooting in Clairton.
It happened along Saint Clair Avenue, and it appears it took place near a construction site.
Allegheny County police confirm a man died after being shot multiple times. It happened around 1:30 Thursday morning. There were multiple evidence markers and shell casings on the ground.
County police say when first responders arrived on the scene, they found the man suffering from multiple gunshots to the torso.
He was taken to the hospital where he died soon after.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 41-year-old Robert Linnen of Clairton.
Police had a black Mercedes towed from the scene. There was a bullet hole in the driver's side window.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
As of right now no one has been taken into custody or charged.
