Russell Crowe Movie Reportedly To Be Shot In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Academy Award-winning actor Russell Crowe is reportedly returning to Pittsburgh to shoot another movie.

The Pittsburgh Business Times reports that Russell Crowe, "Breaking Bad" co-star Aaron Paul, and actress Amanda Seyfried will be shooting a new movie in the area starting in April.

The production team told the Times that the film is called "Fathers and Daughters," and is about a father-daughter love affair expected to be set in New York.

Production teams are reportedly scouting the Pittsburgh area right now.

Filming is expected to start in April, and last approximately three-months.

The production team told the Times, Pittsburgh was chosen because of its proximity to the East Coast, photos of the city, and state film tax credits.

The film will reportedly be directed by Gabriele Muccino.
