One Woman Dies In Route 66 Accident

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A woman died in a two-vehicle accident on Route 66 at the intersection of State Route 366 early Sunday morning.

According to the Westmoreland County Coroner, Haley Montogomery, 28-years-old of Brackenridge, was traveling north on Route 66 when she attempted to make a left on to SR 366 and was struck by an SUV in a T-bone style collision.

Authorities say she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and she was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
