Crash Closes Portion Of Route 8 In Shaler

SHALER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A crash has shut down a portion of Route 8 in Shaler Township.

According to Shaler Township Police, the crash has shut down Route 8 at Spencer Lane Extension (Glenshaw Crossing).

They are asking motorists to use Butler Plank Road and Mt. Royal as an alternate route.

It is not known at this time if there were any injuries due to the crash.
