Ross Park Mall's JCPenney Store Evacuated Due To Smoke

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- The JCPenney store at Ross Park Mall in the North Hills was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after reports of smoke in the building.

Firefighters were called to the scene around 5:30 p.m.

According to Ross Park Mall officials, an electrical issue caused some smoke on a loading dock.

There was no fire.

No injuries were reported.
