PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Firefighters were called to St. Mary of Mercy Church in Downtown Pittsburgh Thursday afternoon.

Roofing materials were burning in between St. Mary's and the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese on the Boulevard of the Allies.

Work is currently being done on the roof.

Two workers were injured during the fire, which was quickly extinguished.

There's no word yet on what sparked the fire or the condition of the two injured workers.
