Rocky Bleier Shares Life Story In One-Night Show

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – He's a legendary four-time Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl champion and an avid veterans' rights activist.

Now Rocky Bleier is sharing his fascinating, motivational life story in a new show at Heinz Hall.

The one-night-only show will be performed on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m.

"This is a whole different venue where you are taking your life story ... to a live audience," said Bleier.

The show was written by the Post-Gazette's Gene Collier.

"He had a lot of great stories that we talked about, some are in the play, but you know, as the play developed ... we kind of came to the conclusion that the best story Rocky has is his own," said Collier. "It's a tremendously compelling story and there's a whole generation of Pittsburghers who might not be familiar with it. It is 40 years ago."

In the show, Bleier will talk about his roles as an activist, family man, Super Bowl champion and as a wounded warrior.

Tickets range from $35 to $60, with some VIP tickets available for $199.
