Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Benefits Cancer Caring Center
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh has been turning out rock 'n roll legends for more than 50 years.

The brand new Pittsburgh Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame inducted its first member Thursday evening at the Hard Rock Café in Station Square.
Supporters of the Cancer Caring Center spent the day preparing 44 autographed mementoes for silent and live auctions.
Executive Director Rebecca Whitlinger says the Hall of Fame celebrates the Caring Center's 25th anniversary.
But one item, created by Wendell August Forge and Pittsburgh artist Johno Prascak, is not for sale.
"It will hang permanently here at the Hard Rock; and each year, as we induct people, their names will be added to the plaque. So, Rich Engler's name is here first," said Mary Ann Miller, spokeswoman for the Cancer Caring Center.
Engler's home in Sewickley Heights is a virtual museum of autographed guitars from Bob Dylan to Bon Jovi.
The man whose concert promotions span four decades recently published a tell-all book called, "Behind the Stage Doors." And it's filled with stories only he could tell.
