Robert Morris Basketball Suspends Four Players

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Robert Morris men's basketball team announced it has suspended four players including standout freshman Jeremiah Worthem.

Robert Morris announced last week that Worthem, along with teammates Britton Lee, Evan Grey and Shaire Tolson-Ford, were suspended one year for what they described as violations of university policy.

All four of the players are no longer at the university and will have to reapply for admission next January if they want to return to the school.

According to school officials, none of the players are facing any sort of legal charges.

Robert Morris spokesman Jonathan Potts told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette the actions of the players would not be revealed, but what they did "carries a mandatory one-year suspension from Robert Morris."

The Colonials are already playing without forward Mike McFadden and guard Desjuan Newton as they decide whether or not they want to return to the program.
