Robbers Steal Cigarettes, Cash From Highland Park Exxon

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police are trying to track down a pair of thieves who stole money and cigarettes from a Highland Park gas station.

A release states that it happened around 5:30 a.m. Thursday at the Exonn in the 7300 block of Butler Street.

Police say two black men walked in while the clerk was preparing food in the kitchen area. One of the suspects was carrying a small baseball bat and told the clerk not to move.

The suspects took money from the register and safe, along with several boxes of cigarettes, before fleeing.

One suspect is described as being between 20 and 30 years old, standing 5'6'' tall, weighing 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white and blue sneakers.

The second suspect is described as being in his 30s, standing 5'8'' tall, weighing around 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and brown boots.

Anyone with information on this robber is asked to contact police.
