Riverside Beaver County School District Employee Under Investigation For Possible Inappropriate Conduct With Students

NORTH SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) - North Sewickley Township Police are investigating a Riverside Beaver County School District employee for possible inappropriate conduct with students.

A statement from the superintendent says after learning about the alleged inappropriate conduct, the district reported it to law enforcement and is taking all the steps required by law.

While the superintendent says the district takes the situation seriously, there's no further comment because it's a personnel issue. The employee was not identified, and the superintendent would not say what school the employee worked at or what their job was.

The district is cooperating with the police investigation. According to officers, it started the investigation last week, and they are still conducting interviews.

So far, they are getting cooperation with everyone involved.

No charges have yet been filed.

Police don't have a timeline on when the investigation will wrap up. The district said it takes these matters seriously and will continue to do everything it can to protect students.
