PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's time to cast your ballot for river of the year.
Voting opened online of Monday at the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources,
The Monongahela River is one of the nominees.
Other nominees include the Connoquenessing Creek, French Creek, and Catawissa Creek.
What's in it for the winner?
After a waterway is chosen, local groups will hold activities and events all year to celebrate, including a paddling trip.
