Some residents evacuated from Boggsville area due to flooding

Boggsville residents had to evacuate late Sunday morning due to rising flood waters in the area.

According to the South Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Department, Buffalo Creek had elevated water levels leading to rapid flooding in the areas in and around Boggsville.

The volunteer fire department is urging individuals in the area to be cautious and said there was an increase in emergency personnel in that area.
