Reports: Hand Injury Could Keep Martin Out For A Month

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pens defenseman Paul Martin could be out for as long as a month after injuring his right hand in the Olympics.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports that Martin is estimated to miss a month, but it's still unclear exactly how long he'll be out at this point.

The newspaper says a physician for the Penguins will take a look and determine how long Martin will take to recover next week.

It was reported earlier by ESPN.com that Martin suffered the injury during the quarterfinal matchup with the Czech Republic.
