Report: Todd Haley Missed Team Flight For Thursday Night Matchup With Baltimore
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Steelers offense was an absolute bust against the Baltimore Ravens during their Week 2 Thursday night matchup, and now we're finding out that offensive coordinator Todd Haley missed the team flight to the game.
As Pro Football Talk reported and the Steelers have since confirmed to them, Haley missed the team's flight claiming he was stuck in traffic, and that his wife was planning on driving to the game anyways, so he would just drive down with her.
Pro Football Talk points out that Haley didn't miss any team meetings prior to the game because of missing the flight, but it was noticed and considered "unusual" that the team's offensive coordinator wasn't traveling with the team.
Starkey and Mueller opened their show on Friday reacting to this story and wondering why there always seems to be some sort story surrounding Haley.
