Report: Steelers, Antonio Brown Agree To Terms On Restructured Deal

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Steelers and Antonio Brown have agreed to terms on a restructured contract.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, no years were added to his current contract, but some money was shifted around.

Specifically, the Steelers moved $4 million Brown was to earn next season to this season. As a result, he will earn $10.25 million as his base salary this season.

In addition to the money, Schefter reported the Steelers will work with Brown on a contract extension after this season.

As for Brown, he seems pretty happy with the restructured deal.

93.7 The FAN Steelers Insider Ed Bouchette joined The Starkey and Mueller Show and called the move "unprecedented."

"What they did do, lets use the word unprecedented.  But it's the second straight year they've done it."
