Report: Rutherford, Johnston, Crosby & Malkin All Staying
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Penguins' General Manager, coach and star players Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are all staying, despite the team's disappointing elimination from playoffs.
Team President David Morehouse told the Post-Gazette and Tribune-Review that the GM and coach will stay, nor is the team planning to trade its star players, reports CBSSports.
As CBSSports points out, last night's loss and elimination from the playoffs marks the fifth time in six years the team didn't make it beyond the second round of playoffs.
