Report: Police Investigating Attempted Abduction In Bethel Park

BETHEL PARK (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a reported attempted abduction in Bethel Park on Friday afternoon.

Bethel Park Police say they received a report around 3 p.m. indicating that a 15-year-old girl was approached by a man as she got off of her school bus near the intersection of Irishtown Extension and Clifton Road.

The teen was not injured.

Bethel Park School District Police were notified and officers searched the area with the assistance of the Port Authority Police K9.

Police say the suspect was described as tall, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black gloves. The suspect's gender and race are not known.
