Report: Pens Targeting Vancouver's Ryan Kesler

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- The Ryan Kesler to Pittsburgh trade rumors appear to be heating up.

Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, citing multiple sources, reported Saturday night that the Penguins are "aggressively" pursuing the Canuck's center.

Per Rossi's report, a proposed deal for Kesler would send Brandon Sutter, two 2014 draft picks and either Simon Despres or Brian Dumoulin to the Canucks in return for Kesler.

Kesler, who has battled a broken hand this season, has scored 21 goals in 61 games.

The NHL trade deadline is 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
