Report: Penn State Comes Away Impressed After Interview With Mike Munchak

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - After being fired by the Tennessee Titans, former head coach Mike Munchak wasted no time in interviewing for the head coaching position at his alma mater, Penn State.

The biggest knock on Munchak's qualifications for the Penn State job was his lack of coaching experience at the college level, but according to David Jones of the Patriot News, Munchak addressed that directly with ways he'd make up for it:

"Munchak made a detailed presentation of exactly how he would go about recruiting, who he believed would be on his staff and how he would sell 2014-class recruits on remaining committed to the program and signing next month."

As the interviews continue to go on for the Penn State head coaching vacancy, CBS Analyst Gary Danielson joined The FAN Morning Show to discuss the unique crossroads the program finds itself at.

Continue to tune in to 93.7 The FAN for all the latest news and information on Penn State's search for their next head coach.
