Report: Paul Martin Out Of Olympics With Injury

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Injuries and illness have plagued many teams in the Olympics this year and for the most part the Penguins players taking part have avoided both until today.

As Scott Burnside of ESPN.com writes, Penguins and Team USA defenseman Paul Martin suffered a hand injury during the quarterfinal matchup with the Czech Republic.

Martin was seen wearing a splint, but the extent of the injury won't be known until he returns to Pittsburgh and is seen by team doctors.
