Report: Panthers Currently Out Of NCAA Tournament

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Following two consecutive conference losses at the hands of Wake Forest and Miami, the Pitt basketball teams chances of making the NCAA Tournament are just about busted.

CBSSports.com College Basketball writer Matt Norlander wrote about Pitt's most recent defeat, a 67-63 loss at the hands of Miami and what that did to their tournament hopes.

Norlander does leave some hope for Panther fans, saying that a win in the season finale against Florida State and a win in the ACC Tournament can get them back into the tournament conversation.

Other experts aren't as hopeful for the Panther as CBSSports.com bracketologist Jerry Palm has the team in his "Work To Do" category.

The Panthers regular season wraps up on Saturday, March 7 as they head to Tallahassee for a matchup against Florida State.  You can catch all the action on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN beginning with Panther Preview at 11 a.m.
