Report: Man Stabs Self To Death In Calif. Target Store

FONTANA, Calif. (KDKA) -- A man fatally stabbed himself in a California Target store late Wednesday morning, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Local police told CBSLA.com that surveillance footage showed a man in his 20s walking into the store around 11 a.m. Wednesday and going to the kitchen section of the store, where he removed a knife from a package and stabbed himself to death. Police were then called to the store.

According to CBSLA, while an area within the store was roped off while police investigated the scene, the store remained open to customers until around 1:30 p.m., when the body was taken out of the store.

CBSLA reports that police say there were no other victims. The identity of the man has not been released.
