Report: Le'Veon Bell Hoping For Reduced Suspension

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - As you might remember, Tom Brady isn't the only player currently suspended from the NFL's season-opening game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots.

Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell is also scheduled to miss the game as he serves a three-game suspension following his arrest for possession of marijuana and DUI during a traffic stop last year.

As Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com writes, Bell is prepared to serve the suspension he was handed down, but remains hopeful that after entering an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program, the NFL may consider reducing the suspension.

In the above link, Bell also talks about his marijuana use saying "it's something I easily can set by. If I wanted to do it later on down my life, I'll enjoy it later on."

Whether or not Bell's suspension will get reduced is yet to be seen, but you can almost be certain that he'll still miss the season opener against the Patriots, leaving each team shorthanded on the offensive side of the ball.
