Report: Johnstown Officer Allegedly Overdosed At Police Department

JOHNSTOWN (KDKA) -- State police are reportedly investigating an alleged drug overdose of a Johnstown police officer who was on duty at the time.

According to the Tribune-Democrat, the incident allegedly happened Sunday inside the Police Public Safety Building on Washington Street. WTAJ in Altoona also confirmed the information.

Cambria County District Attorney Kelly Callihan sent a message stating, "PSP is investigating an on-duty overdose of a JPD officer...They found him unconscious at the police department and rendered Narcan."

Police have not released the officer's name.
