Report: Fire Tears Through Indiana Co. Garage, Home

WHITE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Flames tore through a garage and home in Indiana County Saturday morning.

The Indiana Gazette reports it happened around 1 a.m. on Ridge Avenue in White Township.

A 3 1/2-car garage was destroyed by the flames and collapsed. Beehives were reportedly inside along with a vehicle.

The fire also damaged a nearby home. While the homeowners escaped safely, the family cat died in the fire.

The home sustained water, smoke and heat damage.
