Fayette Co. Bank Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

REDSTONE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Police are investigating a bomb threat at a bank in Redstone Township, Fayette County Tuesday morning.

According to the police, the incident happened at the First National Bank in the 6000-block of National Pike around 11 a.m.

The bank was evacuated and a bomb-sniffing dog was called to the scene. However, nothing was found and the scene was cleared/

Police said the anonymous threat was made over the phone.

No other information has been released at this time.
