Report: Colts' QB In Concussion Protocol Ahead Of Game Against Steelers

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Steelers have a short turnaround this week, but could be facing a short-staffed Indianapolis Colts team on Thanksgiving night.

The Colts look like they could be without their star quarterback on Thursday.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefer, "Andrew Luck is in the concussion protocol," and will likely be out because of the quick turnaround.

Backup quarterback Scott Tolzien would start if Luck is unable to play.

Meanwhile, the Steelers got right back to work themselves Monday morning with no days off because of the short week. But that also doesn't help some of their injured guys.

However, head coach Mike Tomlin did say he's not ruling anyone out and will leave the door open for Darius Heyward-Bey and DeAngelo Williams, but it still looks like those guys are at least a week away.

More is expected to be revealed about both players' statuses after Tuesday's practice.
