Buried Knife Found At O.J. Simpson Estate Being Tested By LAPD
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A construction worker reportedly found a knife buried on the perimeter of the former O.J. Simpson estate.
TMZ first reported the construction worker found the knife years ago when the house was demolished.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that the construction took the knife to an LAPD officer.
That LAPD officer was reportedly a traffic officer working security for a movie shoot at the time, and then kept the knife for years.
Last month TMZ reports that the now retired officer contacted a friend at the LAPD because he wanted to get the knife framed on his wall.
That friend told his superiors at the LAPD who now have the knife.
KNX 1070 and TMZ report the knife is being tested for evidence.

According to CBS News, an official with the Los Angeles Police Department said during a press conference that double jeopardy would come into play.
"It is my understanding from being a police officer for nearly 30 years that double jeopardy would be in play here, and we would not be able to charge Mr. Simpson with the homicides he has already been charged with," the official said.
