Report: 3-Year-Old Pa. Girl Drowned On Thanksgiving
YORK COUNTY (KDKA) -- Tragedy struck a York County family on Thanksgiving.
The York Daily Record reports a 3-year-old girl was pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon after a drowning.
Police were called to a home on Deininger Road in Springettsbury Township at 2:50 p.m. where emergency responders began CPR before transporting her to the hospital.
"At this point, it appears accidental, however, the investigation's ongoing," Springettsbury police Sgt. Brian Wilbur said.
The child's autopsy is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Her name has not been released.
