Registration Is Open For Inaugural Airport 5K At Allegheny County Airport

WEST MIFFLIN (KDKA)- The Allegheny County Airport has announced the airport's first-ever 5k run.

The event is planned for Saturday, Nov. 21. The race starts at 10 a.m.

The run will cover the grounds and taxiways at the Allegheny County Airport in West Mifflin.

Registration is now open for the inaugural run. Slots are limited and registration will close on Nov. 14.

The family-friendly walk and run will benefit the Allegheny County Airport Authority Charitable Foundation. That foundation helps assist members of the military, families and others traveling through Pittsburgh International Airport and the Allegheny County Airport.
