Ramon Foster: Not Playing Sunday 'Wasn't My Call'

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Steelers guard Ramon Foster joined "The Fan Morning Show" in his regular weekly spot on Tuesday with the Steelers set to face the Jaguars in Jacksonville Sunday.

Foster has missed two straight games due to an ankle injury, even though he claimed last week that he expected to be ready for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Foster said sitting out the game was Mike Tomlin's decision.

"It wasn't my call," Foster said. "Coach said he didn't like the way I looked in practice and he'd rather have me going against a team who has a fast d-line, get out there. I could have done it. It was his call at the last-minute. It was actually like a Saturday evening thing, where he made the decision, so I thought I was going."

Foster joins "The Fan Morning Show" every Tuesday at 8 a.m.
