Primanti Bros. Brings Back 'When Pigs Fly' Sandwich For Good Cause

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Iconic restaurant Primanti Bros. is bringing back a fan favorite sandwich and say it's for a good cause.

Starting today the restaurant will begin serving the "When Pigs Fly" sandwich for a second limited time.

A portion of the sales from each When Pigs Fly sandwich will be donated to help the mission of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.

"When Pigs Fly" features turkey, ham, bacon, piled high with fries, cheese, tomato, slaw and a fried egg.

In addition to a donation from Primanti Brothers, piggy banks will be placed in the lobby of each restaurant, allowing customers the opportunity to support the food bank if they choose.

Also, When Pigs Fly-inspired pin-ups will be for sale in each location.

The When Pigs Fly sandwich – and the partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank – will run through August 31.
