Post-Gazette To Lay Off 136 Employees

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is laying off approximately 136 employees.

They layoffs do not include any editorial or newsroom employees, but rather pressmen and workers who are being furloughed because the newspaper bought a new printing press in Clinton.

The Post-Gazette is reportedly reducing workforce at its Boulevard of the Allies and Preble Avenue locations.

The layoffs are expected to begin on or near July 28.
