Portersville Man Charged In Muddy Creek Twp. Fatal Shooting

MUDDY CREEK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A Portersville man is now facing charges in a fatal shooting in Butler County.

According to state police, the shooting happened around 8 p.m. Thursday in the 100-block of Robbie Way in Muddy Creek Township.

Investigators say 22-year-old Jeremey Sickenberger has been charged with one count of criminal homicide in the shooting death of 21-year-old Thomas Stockman of Harmony.

Sickenberger is being held in the Butler County Jail while he awaits a preliminary hearing.

The Pittsburgh Tribune Review reports it happened in a mobile home.
