Political Analyst: Melania Trump's RNC Speech "Inexcusable"

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- Melania Trump is receiving negative backlash for her speech Monday night at the Republican National Convention.

There were lines that were nearly identical to First Lady Michelle Obama's 2008 Democratic National Convention speech.

KDKA Radio Political Analyst Bill Green was in Cleveland for Mrs. Trump's speech and told KDKA Radio host Mike Pintek, "Obviously, she didn't write the speech."

Green says he is questioning if the Trump campaign's strategy of penny pinching could hurt them.

"You get what you pay for," Green said.

Pintek also asked Green if he thought there was sabotage involved in the production of the speech.

Green said he didn't "think it was deliberate," but called it "inexcusable."
