PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A neighbor dispute in Polish Hill ended with shots fired and a man in custody on Wednesday night.

Just before 9:30 p.m., Pittsburgh Police officers were called to the 1000 block of Herron Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert of four rounds fired.

Once they arrived, a man was waiting on the porch of the home, telling officers he had a dispute with another man who was in his car, honking the horn repeatedly.

He said he asked the man to stop and when he refused, he fired his gun when he believed the man inside the car was reaching for a weapon.

The man inside the car was not injured or hit by gunfire.

Police took the man from the porch into custody and a gun was recovered.
