Police: Woman Hit In The Face With Iron During Home Invasion

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for three women and a man accused of breaking into a Carrick home and hitting a woman with an iron.

Police say it happened around 2:30 a.m. at a home on Brownsville Road.

The victim said she woke up to find four people in her home wearing gloves. She said they hit her in the face with an iron and then stole her electronics and credit cards as her 9-year-old son was asleep in the other room.

The child was not harmed.

The suspects are described as three women – one with a light complexion, one with a dark complexion and one weighing 400 pounds – and a man with a light complexion.

Police say the woman ran to a nearby firehouse to report the robbery.
